Every advertisement is unique. Some clients want to shoot a video based on their own script, while others require creative development and scriptwriting. In one case, shooting needs to take place on the client's premises, while for a staged shoot, a location needs to be rented. Some clients order videos with actors and require casting, while others only need a video studio to shoot with their employees in the lead roles. Let's find out how to fill out the brief effectively to receive an accurate estimate for production.
Script and Brief
An important element for any video shoot. It is from the script that the most accurate production cost is calculated. If you have a script that includes all the characters with their dialogue and the locations where the story unfolds, then you don't need much else. Send it to us, and we will prepare an estimate.
If you don't have a script, that's not a problem. You can entrust the development of the creative concept to us.
Effective Reference
It allows you to assess the approximate level of video that you are aiming for in terms of style, quality, and mood. We all love beautiful videos, and in 80% of cases, clients send us very high-end references. Write down what specifically you want to focus on in this reference: rhythm, color, shooting style (handheld or on a dolly), storyline, image quality. Our studio will then select the equipment to shoot the video according to the task and budget. You can choose a reference from our portfolio.
Actor Fees
Actors consume a significant portion of the client's budget. Moreover, shooting videos with actors requires a professional director. If you need a video without actors, indicate this from the beginning or minimize their presence if you have significant budget constraints.
Duration and Copyright
How long will your video be? It's important to note that the duration of the video has little influence on the shooting process and cost. Even a 15-second video can cost over a million rubles. However, the video's duration should be specified. Video content longer than three to five minutes can be significantly more expensive since it may require shooting in multiple sessions.
Always indicate where your advertisement will be shown. The cost of transferring exclusive rights depends on this. This is especially important if you plan to broadcast on TV. Specify the duration of the rights you need: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, and the territory: Moscow, Russia, CIS, etc. This is crucial, especially when actors are involved in the video. The cost of an actor consists of two parts: 1. Work on the set + 2. Transfer of rights to use their image.
Rights for internet and internal use are included by default and are not limited by time or territory. However, negotiating rights for TV is necessary. The same applies if you plan to organize a photoshoot during the video production and use the actors' images in outdoor advertising. Rights for OOH placement are more expensive.

The quality and, consequently, the price depend on these two members of the production team the most. For shooting, we offer good and proven cinematographers who have established themselves. Working with actors requires a professional director. However, this significantly affects the cost. Therefore, think several times about what is more important to you: actors and directorial staging or the budget.
Computer Graphics
If you plan to include graphic elements, it is better to send a reference right away regarding the level of CG execution. Also, specify the duration of the graphics. To calculate the estimate, we need to understand the scope of the graphic work. Keep in mind that creating graphics is a time-consuming process.
